Last year we shared with you New Sharetribe alternatives. Some things are changing and some new tools appear. Today we are going to tell you about post listings and edit user profiles with Sharetribe Go.
To help providers getting started, or as an extra service for them, administrators can post listings as a member. Sometimes you would like to be able to help your users update their profile information. Other times you want to remove sensitive information from a user profile or improve the quality of the information provided, like adding an image when someone has forgotten to add one.
As an admin, you might want to help your providers create their first listings or offer extra service of posting on behalf of providers. In other marketplaces, the target providers could not be very technical and might need help creating listings.
Editing the users’ profile
You can simply edit the user’s profile exactly as you would do your own. You will notice that there is a banner clearly indicating the name of the user whose profile you are modifying.
By clicking “Post listing as” in the user’s public profile, you will access exactly the same form to post a new listing as you would normally access from the “+ Post a new listing” button. You will notice that there is a banner indicating the name of the user on whose behalf you are posting a listing.
