Recently we shared with you the opinion, why your web project should be a PWA. Of course, we encourage you to make such decisions by yourself. That’s why we want to introduce you to something else you can use on your projects. Mobile development: not only Native and Hybrid but also Bridge and Progressive…
There exists a variety of ways for mobile apps development. We would like to present to you the main four of them:
- Native Platforms. Objective-C/Swift (iOS) or Kotlin/Java (Android). They have very high speed and full support for threading and performance optimization.
- Hybrid Platforms. They have many tools that allow you to create mobile apps by leveraging existing codebases or writing languages other than native code, like Ionic Framework and Xamarin.
- Bridge platforms. You can code in a non-native language with native elements. You also can use native code and export that functionality via the bridge layer, like React Native and Flutter
To find more about all of them and decide which one do you want to use, please check here.
By the way, feel free to check our brief summary of the comparison for cross-platform development main contestants: Xamarin vs React Native vs Flutter.
