Don’t you have a feeling that you missed something? That’s right! You probably missed the news about the new release of React. You can rely on us and read our article where you can meet React 360 (or React VR). Usage of React 360 is similar to React Native, but its library does not interface with the DOM the way we know it.

React 360 (or React VR) is a library used to create virtual reality experiences with React. It is a React project, the API should be familiar to those people who already know React.

So, what’s new?

  • we can use react-360 globally on our machine
  • using the CLI, we can create a new project with the init command
  • we can interact with the environment by using the VrButton component
  • it also comes with a variety of inbuilt UI components that we can use. Examples of these are View, Image, Entity, and VrButton.
  • each time that we click the button, our counter is increased

Find more examples here.

And don’t miss a chance to check high-quality open source software from React Training we found on Github.
