When testing the trick is to fix the problem you have, rather than the problem you want. We’re delighted to announce the release of the automated testing framework that can do that job for you. Meet Nightwatch.js for browser automated testing.

Automated testing and continuous integration framework based on Node.js and using the Webdriver protocol.

Nightwatch uses a WebDriver compatible server to control the browser. WebDriver is a W3C specification and industry standard which provides a platform and HTTP protocol to interact with a browser.

It includes support for automatically managing the following services:

  • ChromeDriver
    for running tests against the Chrome browser;
  • GeckoDriver
    for running tests against the Mozilla Firefox browser:
  • Selenium Standalone Server
    allows managing multiple browser configurations in one place and to make use of the Selenium Grid service;

Various example tests are included in the examples folder which demonstrates the usage of several Nightwatch features. Check the information here.

It will be worthwhile to select top 10 automation testing tools to cover that topic. Keep up the good job!
