RubyDay 2020 is the 8th edition of the Italian Ruby conference, for the second year in a row organized by GrUSP, the Italian (web) development user group. GrUSP is a community whose intent is to improve the web development ecosystem in Italy.
RubyDay 2020 will be held in Verona on April 2nd. The event’s goal is to allow all Rubyists to meet and share the experience while having fun and networking in an enjoyable context.
The first confirmed speakers are Eileen Uchitelle (Staff Software Engineer, GitHub) and Aaron Patterson (Core team member of Ruby and Rails, Software Engineer at GitHub).
The organizers are currently reviewing the talk proposals received through the Call for Papers and they are going to announce the lineup soon.
RubyDay is a community-oriented conference and a non-profit event.
In order to enable as many people as possible to attend, the tickets are affordable, and discounted tickets for students are available. If you’re part of an underrepresented group in tech you can apply for a free ticket through the Scholarship Program. A code of conduct is applied!
