Firefox is one of the browsers that constantly updates and adds new fascinating features and Syndicode is happy to share it with you! This time please meet Firefox 70 released!
The latest release contains some useful CSS changes, such as the display property that now can accept two keyword values (for inner and outer display types), password generation for input type=’password’ fields, underline styling, and many more.
Let’s select some of the most important features and describe them in details:
- DOM mutation breakpoints, as well as inactive CSS rule indicators in the DevTools;
- Updated HTML
<input>elements; now any
<input>element can generate a secure password in the context menu, and it will be stored in Lockwise;
- The appearance of three new properties related to text-decoration:
- It’s now possible to set breakpoints for DOM Mutation in the Debugger;
- In the CSS Rules view, the color picker will tell whether its contrast color corresponds accessibility conformance criteria;
- The opacity values (
stop-opacity) can now be percentages;
<math>elements were removed.
