The web architecture is the conceptual structure of the World Wide Web. The topic of software architecture sometimes can be complicated but today we will try to make it more clear revealing 3 types of web application architecture.

Web Applications have two sets of programs. They run separately but simultaneously. But there are three types of web application architecture, that are:

  • Single-page applications. They are most popular and have only one required element – content.
  • Microservices architectures. Using its framework developers can roll out applications faster and more efficient.
  • Serverless architectures. Here applications don’t need to relate to the infrastructure, and developers don’t work with the backend servers.

Usually, Web Application Architectures include many components that are divided into two categories of components – user interface app components and structural components.
