Last year you could read our material about the state of IT education in Ukraine. While the technical universities in Ukraine still develop the methodology for IT education, the youth took the initiative. Talented students understand the need for qualified specialists in the field and develop their programming skills participating in different competitions and hackathons. This way IT companies can spot the right candidate and invite to work or collaborate. For the same reason, BEST Zaporizhzhya invites you to LikeIT – all-Ukrainian 24-hour programming marathon!

BEST, or Board of European Students of Technology, is a constantly growing non-profit and non-political organization that unites 97 local groups in technical universities of 34 European countries. Since 1989 they provide communication, co-operation and exchange possibilities for students all over Europe through engineering courses and competitions. Also, BEST helps students to start their career participating in different job fairs and presentations.

BEST Zaporizhzhya is one of the local BEST groups that organizes LikeIT programming marathon since 2014. Every year they gather motivated youth of different specialties for receiving new knowledge and revealing their potential.
